december 21st Service

Advent has always been about waiting. But this year, maybe more than ever, that waiting feels heavier. We’re aching for peace in a divided world. Longing for love in the middle of loneliness. Clinging to hope in the face of exhaustion. Trying to remember what joy even feels like. And yet, Advent is not a sentimental rewind. It’s a sacred reorientation. It’s about finding our footing again — not in the shifting winds of culture, but in the sturdy presence of Christ. This Christmas, we return to the four ancient themes of the season — Hope, Peace, Love, and Joy — not as decoration, but as anchors for the world we long for. And we let the truth of Jesus hold us steady in a world that feels like it’s drifting.
