Lois joined the Pastoral Team in September 2023, after more than ten years in pastoral ministry in two other churches. Her life has been marked by moving around, so it is no surprise that she met her husband of 15 years while she was teaching at a seminary in Nigeria. Both Tromhan and Lois have an education background, which lays a substantial foundation for their world views. Within the team at Emmanuel, Lois uses her passion for communicating and connecting with people by hearing their stories and working towards an understanding of how God may be working. In addition to loving the Church, she also loves playing tennis with Tromhan and kayaking  or paddleboarding, and cheering on the Blue Bombers, no matter what the outcome.

Connie started her position in July 2013.  She is that friendly smile when you first walk into the office.  She is married to Jake and has 3 adult married children and three precious grandsons.  Her interests include playing with her grandkids, walking her dogs, puzzling and hiking in the hills.  Her kids think she is an "over the top" Winnipeg Jets fan.  Feel free to call or email the office and she'd be happy to help you.
