Emmanuel Mennonite Church is a vibrant, highly collaborative congregation, where ministry happens together.

We are offering a full time opportunity with a half time focus on Youth Ministry as well as a half time focus on additional Congregational Ministries. We are open to flexibility on FTE depending on the candidate, however our primary focus is on Youth Ministry. 

For more than 40 years, Emmanuel Mennonite Church has been committed to the mission of Jesus, Community, and Reconciliation. 

We are an Anabaptist Church affiliated with Mennonite Church Manitoba, seeking to faithfully follow Jesus in our everyday lives. We believe transformation happens in relationship, discipleship happens in community, and reconciliation is at the heart of God's work in the world. We are a congregation with a large footprint in our community, on boards, in government and social services - being active in our community and organizations is an essential part of living out our faith. 

As an intentionally intergenerational Church, we believe every generation belongs, contributes, and learns from one another. 

THE OPPORTUNITY

As our Associate Pastor of Youth Ministries, you will: 

• Disciple and mentor students in their faith journey. 

• Create meaningful environments where students encounter Jesus and authentic community. 

• Recruit, develop, and support volunteer leaders. 

• Partner with parents and families as primary faith influencers.

 • Build connections between students and the wider church community.

 • Develop retreats, gatherings, service opportunities, and mission experiences.

 • Collaborate closely with pastors, staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders across the life of the church.

• Is a follower of Jesus and passionate about discipleship. 

• Believes deeply in the potential of young people. 

• Is committed to community, collaboration, and reconciliation.

 • Prioritizes and views working together as a team as an essential part of this position.

 • Is relational, teachable, and adaptable.

 • Is someone who is willing to learn and develop within a collaborative team environment, under the direction of a Lead Pastor. 

• Brings initiative, creativity, and a willingness to learn. Whether you're an experienced ministry leader or an emerging Pastor eager to grow, we'd love to hear your story!
